The film Santhana Prapthirasthu, featuring Vikranth and Chandini Chowdary, is set to release on November 14. Directed by Sanjeev Reddy and produced by Madhura Sreedhar Reddy and Nivi Hariprasad Reddy under Madhura Entertainment and Nirvi Arts, the screenplay is written by Sheikh Dawood G. Tharun Bhascker, who portrays a quirky character named Jack Reddy, expressed his enthusiasm for the film. His character, a businessman in funeral services with a strong caste identity, is expected to bring humor and depth to the story. After viewing the preview, Tharun described the film as a “perfect mix of humor and emotion” that addresses the sensitive issue of infertility in an engaging manner.
He stated, “During my time acting in Santhana Prapthirasthu, I had some doubts, but they disappeared after seeing the final cut. The film has a smooth flow with enjoyable moments and sincere emotions, reminiscent of Ayushmann Khurrana’s movies.” Tharun also conveyed, “It felt like savoring a comforting home-cooked Telugu meal — light, fulfilling, and genuine. My character, Jack Reddy, may appear tough but possesses a kind heart; such individuals are present in our lives.” He praised the team’s dedication: “Director Sanjeev Reddy approached the subject with clarity, and Vikranth was ideal as Chaitanya. Every actor excelled in their roles. This film deserves to be experienced in theaters.
