Sources indicate that Balakrishna was initially intrigued by the part and engaged in thorough discussions with director Nelson. However, creative differences soon surfaced when the Akhanda star requested a more substantial role with increased screen time. Furthermore, reports indicate that Balakrishna sought a considerably higher salary than what was initially offered, resulting in a deadlock.
Consequently, the filmmakers opted to eliminate the character entirely rather than find a replacement, thus confirming Balakrishna’s departure from the film.
