Patna: With the fate of 2,616 candidates sealed in Electronic Voting Machines, Bihar now awaits November 14, when the counting will determine the state’s governance. However, even before the votes are counted, astrologers are analyzing planetary charts to predict whether the stars favor Chief Minister Nitish Kumar or his rival Tejashwi Prasad Yadav. Astrologer Suresh Mishra believes Nitish’s horoscope indicates continuity. Born under Scorpio with a Leo ascendant, Nitish is currently experiencing Rahu Mahadasha and Mars Antardasha, a combination that reportedly enhances courage and authority. On the counting day, benefic Jupiter will transit through his house of fortune, “ensuring prestige and position remain intact,” according to Mishra.
He adds that with Mars influencing the house of destiny, “Nitish’s chart suggests power, supported by Jupiter’s exalted position.” In contrast, Tejashwi’s astrological indicators present a more challenging scenario. His Aquarius sun sign and Capricorn ascendant place him under Mercury Mahadasha and Rahu Antardasha — a phase noted for political upheaval. Additionally, he is experiencing the third phase of Saturn’s Sade Sati, which astrologers view as karmic and transformative. While strong Mars and Venus suggest charisma and determination, a weak Sun, Rahu, and Jupiter may obstruct his path to power. Nevertheless, Mishra does not dismiss Tejashwi’s chances entirely.
“If Saturn favors him, the conclusion of Sade Sati could lead to unexpected success,” he remarked, suggesting a potential twist in Bihar’s political narrative. As the EVMs remain idle and anticipation rises, Bihar’s fate, at least from an astrological perspective, appears to lean towards stability — though with the possibility of surprises.
