Patna: Initial trends in the Bihar election results indicate a significant mandate for the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in the state. Although it is premature to draw any definitive conclusions while counting is ongoing, a viral video of Prime Minister Narendra Modi from a Bihar election campaign has captured the attention of netizens. In the video, he predicts the ‘biggest’ victory for the NDA. During a rally in Bihar’s Aurangabad, PM Modi stated, “This election will see the biggest victory of NDA.
I am telling you to prepare for the Vijay Utsav after November 14.” As early trends suggest a strong performance by the NDA, this video has gained considerable traction on social media, with many referring to him as the ‘perfect pollster.’ In the high-stakes contest for Bihar, all parties employed their star campaigners to attract voters and garner support. PM Modi conducted several rallies in the state, pledging to accelerate development projects while criticizing the ‘jungle raj’ associated with the RJD and cautioning voters against the return of those linked to ‘katta.’ At a rally in Muzaffarpur, PM Modi also ‘prophesied’ the Mahagathbandhan’s substantial loss in the Bihar elections.
“Today, every survey is clearly revealing that the RJD and Congress are heading towards their biggest defeat ever in this election. All surveys are saying that the NDA is going to get the biggest victory. This new history is being created by the youth, women, farmers, and fishermen of Bihar, leaving the RJD and Congress in fear,” he remarked during the rally. Notably, the early trends for the Bihar Assembly elections indicate a landslide victory for the BJP-led NDA, a significant setback for the Mahagathbandhan, with both Congress and RJD losing ground, and little effect from the newly introduced Jan Suraaj Party.
