Bihar Exit Polls 2025: NDA Takes Lead with Trust in Governance

Patna: Following Bihar’s critical Assembly election, exit polls indicate a significant advantage for the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), forecasting a renewed mandate for Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and the BJP-led administration. With results expected on 14 November, political discourse has intensified, mirroring the ruling coalition’s growing confidence. Bihar BJP president Dilip Jaiswal stated that the figures demonstrate “the people’s unwavering trust in the double-engine government of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.” “Bihar’s voters have faith in the NDA’s vision of a developed state,” Jaiswal remarked to reporters.

“Even after two decades of governance, the atmosphere is celebratory — evidence that our actions resonate with the public.” Union Minister Nityanand Rai shared this positivity, claiming that the exit polls merely reflect a portion of the NDA’s actual strength. “The true verdict will be even more resounding. The populace has voted for Modi’s leadership and Nitish Kumar’s good governance,” Rai stated. “The NDA is poised to establish the government with a substantial majority.” Bihar Minister Ashok Choudhary added that the alliance is on track for its best performance since 2010. “We’ve witnessed the public’s enthusiasm firsthand across constituencies — anticipate surprising outcomes, all favoring the NDA,” he noted.

BJP, JD(U) Attribute Growth to Development Politics Senior BJP figure Vijay Kumar Sinha, who concurrently holds the Deputy Chief Minister role, expressed gratitude to voters for “endorsing the pace of Bihar’s development.” “The citizens of the mother of democracy have once again placed their trust in the double-engine government,” he remarked. “Bihar has rejected empty promises and opted for progress.” JD(U) representatives insisted that Nitish Kumar’s reputation as a “performing chief minister” remains intact. “Our work speaks louder than words,” one party member commented. Opposition Disputes Polls, Labels Them ‘Deeply Flawed’ However, the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) and its allies have completely dismissed the exit poll findings.

RJD leader Mrityunjay Tiwari noted that historical patterns show “pollsters have often been incorrect.” “The truth may be oppressed but never defeated,” he added. “The people of Bihar have voted against the NDA, and Tejashwi Yadav will be the next chief minister.” Independent MP Pappu Yadav from Purnia also questioned the validity of exit polls, describing them as “speculative theatre.” “When have exit polls ever been accurate? The reality on the ground is different — Bihar has voted for change,” he asserted. “2025 Phir Se Nitish”: A Rallying Cry Among NDA Leaders From West Champaran’s Betia to Patna, NDA members are uniting around the confident slogan — “2025 phir se Nitish” (“Nitish again in 2025”).

BJP candidate Renu Devi remarked that voters prioritized performance over promises. “This is not a vote for empty claims, but for development,” she stated. “People have witnessed genuine progress and desire continuity.” As Bihar prepares for counting day on 14 November, both coalitions await the results with anticipation. For the NDA, the polls reinforce confidence in stability and governance. For the opposition, they signal a potential upset on the horizon.
