Patna, May 10 (). Rashtriya Janata Dal leader and cabinet minister in Nitish Kumar government Alok Mehta said that BJP is not talking on real issues. It relies on inviting self-styled godmen, showing films and incidents like Pulwama.
Politics in Bihar is at its peak regarding the arrival of self-styled godman Dhirendra Shastri of Bageshwar Dham in Patna on May 12. He will do spiritual programs from May 13 to 17 in Naubatpur locality.
When asked about Sant Dhirendra Shastri’s visit to Patna, Mehta said that BJP does not say anything on real issues like inflation, price rise, unemployment, farmers’ issues as it has nothing to say. This is their job, calling Babas and showing films (The Kerala Story). If these gimmicks do not work for them, they will create incidents like Pulwama in the country and mislead the people.
He further said that BJP leaders want to get votes on the basis of narrative making and story cooking. They don’t believe in working.
The minister said, BJP made many promises, but did the opposite, they sold the property of the country. They have sold railways, ports, airports and many other things. They have not kept any promises made to the people. This is the reason why Nitish Kumar is getting tremendous response for his initiative of opposition unity.
