Bangalore, May 13 (). BJP general secretary and MLA C.T. Ravi, his Congress rival H.D. Thamayya is trailing in Chikmagalur constituency.
Thamayya of Congress took a lead of 812 votes against Ravi at the end of the first round. In the second round, he is leading by 220 votes. This trend is being considered as a big blow for the BJP party.
Ravi, a staunch Hindutva leader, is always at the forefront in defending the party. The Congress has one of its strongmen, Thamayya contesting against him.
