Rudraprayag, May 2 (). The mood of the weather is changing every moment in Kedarnath Dham. Due to rain and snowfall, the cold has increased in Dham. Yatra is being affected due to continuous rain and snowfall in Kedarnath Dham. Pilgrims are now being prevented from going to Kedarnath Dham by the district administration. Along with this, problems have started increasing due to the snowfall in the Dham. In such a situation, an appeal is being made by the police and the district administration to stop the pilgrims at the yatra halts and stay at safe places. On the other hand, in view of the harsh weather, Rudraprayag DM Mayur Dixit has stopped the registration of pilgrims going to Kedarnath till May 3. Along with this, the pilgrims have been appealed to travel further after taking weather information.
Rudraprayag DM Mayur Dixit has stopped the registration of pilgrims going to Kedarnath till May 3 due to bad weather and snowfall in Kedarnath. Said that a decision regarding registration will be taken when the weather is fine. Earlier this ban was till 30 April. But the weather is not improving in Dham, after which the administration has extended the ban further.
In view of the safety of the pilgrims coming to visit Kedarnath Dham, the district administration is appealing to the pilgrims to travel after the weather clears up. By stopping the pilgrims through announcements, they are being told that it is raining and snowing continuously in Kedarnath Dham. In such a situation, the devotees may have to face the indifference of the weather in the Dham. While proper arrangements have been made for the pilgrims to stay and eat at the yatra halts. Alam is that due to the changed weather in Uttarakhand, the devotees have to stop at the halts and wait for the weather to clear.
