Berhampur: The NIST Cloud Computing Club hosted a webinar focused on cloud computing, uniting learners and specialists on a shared platform. The event featured various notable attendees. Dr. Karthik Kambhampati, a Global Recognition Awardee and Engineering Programme Manager at Apple, provided insights into the evolving realm of cloud computing, emphasizing its services, applications, and security issues. His presentation offered students a global viewpoint on technological progress and real-world industry practices. The program was inaugurated by Dean Academics, Dr. P Rajesh Kumar, who served as the Chief Guest. Chief Speaker and Club Adviser Prof. Ashish Kumar Dass shared important insights on the importance of cloud computing in contemporary education and industry.
The webinar saw participation from over 200 students, along with more than 30 active members of the Cloud Computing Club. Students engaged in an interactive discussion, posing questions about cloud services, security, and scalability, ultimately gaining practical understanding of industry challenges.
