New Delhi, June 1 (). A Delhi court on Thursday sent top gangster Lawrence Bishnoi to Delhi Police’s Crime Branch custody for 10 days.
Crime branch produced Bishnoi in Saket court and sought his remand. A senior police officer told on the condition of anonymity that the Saket court has handed over Lawrence Bishnoi to the crime branch for 10 days police custody.
Earlier, Special Cell had questioned Lawrence Bishnoi in connection with extortion and firing on him and his brother Anmol Bishnoi in Sunlight Colony area.
On the instructions of Lawrence Bishnoi, three minors allegedly opened fire at the house of a businessman in Sunlight Colony. The three minors were arrested by the Crime Branch from Rajasthan.
Police said that on being arrested, the three confessed to firing at the behest of Lawrence’s brother Anmol. The officer said that Anmol operates Lawrence’s gang from abroad. In this case, the Crime Branch has taken Lawrence Bishnoi into custody on remand from the Saket court.
