Kaushik-Guddu Discuss the Inspiration Behind Deewaniyat's Hit Song

Music composer duo Kaushik-Guddu, responsible for the title track of Deewaniyat, have revealed an intriguing detail about the hit song. While Vishal is the official vocalist, the viral lines, “Tere dil pe haq mera hai, tu sanam beshak mera hai,” were actually sung by the composers themselves. The song’s creation process was also notable, as producer Anshul Garg and director Milap Zaveri granted the duo complete creative freedom, deviating from the standard detailed brief. “It’s rare in the industry to receive such trust,” the composers remarked. “Typically, we are instructed to produce music with distinct highs and lows or follow a specific structure.

This time, Anshul Bhai and Milap Sir simply encouraged us to follow our instincts, which transformed the entire process.” With this unrestricted approach, Kaushik-Guddu fully invested themselves in the music. “Without any limitations, we poured our hearts into it,” they said. “When that catchy hook emerged, we chose to sing it ourselves. The audience’s reaction has been incredible, and it feels meaningful knowing that listeners connect most with the part that originated from us.” The duo attributes the track’s success to the collaborative efforts of Anshul Garg and Milap Zaveri and suggests that this is only the start of more future collaborations.
