New Delhi, March 27 (). A man was rescued 20 minutes after being abducted in Delhi’s Krishna Nagar area. A senior police officer said on Monday that two accused have been arrested.
The police received a call at 4.33 pm. On Sunday, 30-year-old Deepak, a resident of Pandit Park area, was abducted by two persons from his house in a car.
A senior police officer said, the phone number of the victim was obtained, and based on the location, the Kanch restaurant in Jhilmil Industrial Area was raided. The victim was rescued within 20 minutes.
A case under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code was registered at Krishna Nagar police station and the two accused have been identified as Paritosh Gupta (30), a resident of New Govindpura, and Luv (29), a resident of Bihari Colony, the official said.
