New Delhi, May 28 (). Security has been beefed up in the national capital ahead of the inauguration of the new Parliament building here by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Delhi Police has beefed up security across the city and personnel deployed at the borders are checking all vehicles entering the city.
Police have set up checkpoints at several borders to conduct intensive checks for vehicles entering from the borders.
Security has also been beefed up at Jantar Mantar ahead of the march of protest wrestlers towards the new Parliament building.
The protesting wrestlers have decided to hold Mahila Mahapanchayat in front of the new Parliament building on Sunday.
Police teams are also continuously monitoring the areas around the new Parliament House through CCTV cameras.
