New Delhi, June 3 (). Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad has demanded that special steps should be taken to improve the condition of universities and colleges across the country. For this, demands have been made to improve the infrastructure of the universities, to fill all the vacancies soon. Along with this, the government has also been demanded that student union elections should be started in all educational institutions.
The student organization has also demanded immediate steps from the government and the administration of educational institutions to make educational campuses stress-free. ABVP will start Anandamaya Sarthak Chhatra Jeevan Abhiyan in educational institutions across the country this year, will organize various creative activities, events, mental health management programs etc. under this campaign.
The National Executive Council meeting of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad was held in Pune on 28th May. A total of 355 delegates from 44 provinces participated in this meeting from the organizational point of view of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad from all over the country, four resolutions have been passed in this National Executive Council meeting of ABVP. Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad is entering the 75th year of its historic organizational journey on July 9, 2023, for this important upcoming year of ABVP, in this National Executive Council, the issues related to students and youth will be discussed on a large scale through various campaigns by ABVP. The action plan to address through the medium has been determined. The national convention of the 75th year of establishment will be held this year on December 1-3, 2023 in Delhi.
Vidyarthi Parishad will organize various programs in educational campuses across the country to celebrate the glorious occasion of 350th Coronation Anniversary of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in a fervent manner. In the National Executive Council meeting, meaningful discussions were held on the current national scenario, establishment of Indian-centric thought in education, preparation of courses according to present needs, implementation of National Education Policy and participation of students in implementation, self-reliant India etc. This year, on the occasion of World Entrepreneurship Day on August 21, Entrepreneurship Week will be organized across the country.
ABVP National General Secretary Yagyavalkya Shukla said, Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad demands the inclusion of India-centric ideas in the curriculum of educational institutions across the country. Along with this, the educational situation of the present time should be kept in mind while preparing the courses. Student union elections should be started in all educational institutions so that students get proper representation and develop leadership qualities in them. ABVP demands work in all state universities and colleges as per the present requirements and improvement in various aspects.
