Mumbai, often referred to as the city of dreams, conceals a grim truth beneath its radiant skyline. The forthcoming web film “Dongari to Mumbra” bravely explores this reality, where innocence confronts temptation amidst the pervasive influence of the underworld. Produced by S Sameer Films and Big Concern Films, the film highlights the insidious drug problem that silently permeates communities, ensnaring youth and fracturing families. The project is directed by Nitesh Tiwari, with production by Sayyed Sameer Husain and Saud A. Chandle, and co-produced by Sultan Mufrid. To ensure authenticity, the filmmakers have extensively shot in genuine Mumbai locations such as Dongari, Mumbra, Charni Road, Library, and Mumbai Central, creating a raw and realistic visual experience.
“Dongari to Mumbra” serves not only as a narrative but also as a reflection of society, acting as a wake-up call regarding the dangers of addiction, promising to leave a lasting impact on audiences after the credits roll.
