Aligarh, April 2 (). An inebriated person opened fire, injuring five people in Salpur village of Uttar Pradesh’s Aligarh district.
According to police sources, Bhura, who was recently released on bail in a criminal case, had a dispute with Yashpal of the same village and opened fire. Five passers-by were injured due to this.
Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) R.K. Sisodia said, the accused has been arrested and sent to jail. We have also recovered a weapon from his possession.
One of the victims, Rahul, who is handicapped, was seriously injured. Four others were also trapped in the firing.
The injured were taken to Khair Community Health Center, the DSP said. The investigation is on.
