Greater Noida, March 27 (). Online auction of residential plot scheme of Greater Noida Authority was also held on Monday. The auction of 38 plots took place on the second day. The price of these plots from the reserve price was about Rs 30.65 crores, but after the online auction, these plots were sold at a higher price, due to which the Authority will now get about Rs 89.85 crores.
On January 20, the estate department launched the scheme of 166 residential plots on the instructions of Greater Noida Authority CEO Ritu Maheshwari. Plots ranging from 162 square meters to 738 square meters area have been included in this scheme. These plots are located in Sector 2, Sector Chai 3, Phi 3, Delta 2, Delta 3, Sigma 2, Sigma One of Greater Noida.
Online auction of these plots through SBI portal has started from Sunday. ACEO of Greater Noida Authority Anand Vardhan said that online auction of 38 plots took place on Monday. All these are plots of 220 square meters. The ACEO said that a plot of 220 square meters located in Sector 2 has been sold at a rate of about 142 percent more than the fixed reserve price. The reserve price of this plot was fixed at Rs 87.12 lakh, but this plot has been sold for Rs 2,11,20,000. He told that Rs 30.65 crore was expected to be received from the sale of all these 38 plots according to the reserve price, but all these plots were sold at a price higher than the reserve price, due to which now the Authority will get Rs 89.85 crore in 90 days. The possession will also be given to the allottees as soon as the process of allotment is completed.
Anand Vardhan told that the auction of the remaining plots will be held on March 28, 29 and 30 as well. The list of applicants eligible for auction is uploaded on the website of Greater Noida Authority. Authority’s CEO Ritu Maheshwari has said that Greater Noida is not only a hub for industrial and commercial investment, but is also very keen to invest in residential projects. People are eager to make their residence here. That’s why they are bidding for residential plots in a big way.
