New Delhi, April 21 (). The condition of the woman who was shot at in Delhi’s Saket Court complex on Friday is said to be critical and police sources said the assailant has been identified.
According to sources, the woman was in the lawyers’ block in the court premises when the firing took place. Three to four rounds were fired.
The woman was injured after being shot in the stomach.
The woman was taken to AIIMS hospital and her condition is currently stated to be critical, a police officer said.
However, the accused fled from the spot after firing at the woman.
According to sources, the accused has been identified and he is said to be a history-sheeter.
Sources said, it is suspected that there was some dispute between the victim and the accused over money.
A police team has reached the crime scene and is scanning CCTV cameras installed in the area to trace the accused, the police officer said.
Court security has once again been questioned after a man entered the court premises with a weapon despite being frisked by metal detectors and security officials.
