Patna, May 28 (). Former Begusarai MP Monazir Hasan on Sunday resigned from the primary membership of Janata Dal-United in Bihar.
Talking to reporters in Begusarai, Hasan said, 90 per cent leaders like me are feeling suffocated in the party. People like me have no importance in the party. We are just like garam masala in a party.
Hasan said that JDU is deviating from its real goal. Ministers have no value in the Grand Alliance. The party is in the hands of a few leaders. RJD is taking votes of Muslims by threatening them in the name of BJP and such people are being ignored.
Hasan has sent his resignation to the party’s National President Lalan Singh and Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.
Hasan had moved to JDU after resigning from RJD. Nitish Kumar made him a minister in his cabinet and also gave him a ticket in the 2009 Lok Sabha elections. He was then elected from Begusarai. In the year 2014, he switched to BJP. After this he again returned to JDU.
