New Delhi, May 29 (). A garment shop owner and his two sons were thrashed and stabbed by four men in east Delhi’s Laxmi Nagar area on Sunday night. An official gave this information on Monday.
The injured have been identified as Khalid and his sons Tariq Anwar and Mohammad Anas, whose condition is said to be critical.
According to the police, the police control room received information about firing and damage to a clothing shop at Ramesh Park in Laxmi Nagar on Sunday night, following which a police team reached the shop, where the shop windows were broken and The goods of the shop were scattered outside.
During interrogation, it was revealed that one Amin along with his three accomplices first came to the shop and threw out the goods of the shop, damaged the glass and other items of the almirah.
A senior police officer said, the accused started thrashing the shop owner Khalid and his sons with pistols and rods who came to his rescue. They stabbed Khalid and his sons also suffered injuries.
The injured were taken to Hedgewar Hospital, the official said. Crime team was called. The police team inspected the spot. Two empty cartridges, blood samples and other items were recovered from the spot.
A case has been registered at Laxmi Nagar police station under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code, the officer said. As per preliminary investigation, it appears to be a property dispute.
