The Hyderabad Black Hawks triumphed over the Goa Guardians with scores of 15-13, 20-18, 15-17, and 15-9 during the RR Kabel Prime Volleyball League powered by Scapia at the Gachibowli Indoor Stadium in Hyderabad on Thursday. Yudi Yamamoto received the Player of the Match award as the Black Hawks moved up to sixth place in the standings with seven points. The Black Hawks quickly gained a two-set advantage while the Guardians faced challenges due to unforced errors. Although Prince’s contributions at the net allowed the Guardians to secure one set, the combined efforts of Yudi Yamamoto and Sahil led to a decisive 3-1 victory for the Black Hawks.
The match began with a strong performance from the Black Hawks, particularly from Brazilian Vitor Yudi Yamamoto and Sahil Kumar at the net, while Nathaniel Dickinson and Chirag Yadav of the Guardians attempted to keep pace with their powerful spikes. Ultimately, it was Sahil Kumar’s impressive spike that clinched the first set for the Black Hawks.
