I will not be hanged for throwing medal in Ganga: Brij Bhushan Singh Barabanki, May 31 (). Indian Wrestling Federation President and BJP MP Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh has retaliated on the warning of female wrestlers to throw their medals in the Ganges. Said that those who accused me, Brij Bhushan will not be hanged on the pretext of throwing a medal in the Ganges.

Addressing a program organized in Barabanki, BJP MP Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh said that, I had said that if a single allegation is proved against me, I will hang myself. Even today I stand by the same point. Said that I will not be hanged for shedding the medal on the Ganges. BJP MP Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh has said that if even a single allegation against me is proved, I will hang myself.

The BJP MP further said that if you have any evidence, then go and give it to the police or the court, and if the court hangs me, then I accept it. This is an emotional drama.

Wrestlers continue to protest against the head of Wrestling Federation of India and BJP MP Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh. The matter has increased so much that now it has reached the point of shedding the medal in the Ganges.

It may be noted that on Tuesday, the country’s top wrestlers including Sakshi Malik, Vinesh Phogat and Bajrang Punia had come to immerse their Olympic and World medals in the river Ganga, but on the persuasion of farmer leaders, they did not immerse the medals in the river Ganga. It is noteworthy that Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, the head of the Wrestling Federation of India, is accused of sexual harassment of many female wrestlers.
