New Delhi: During Operation Sindoor, Indian strikes reportedly destroyed or damaged over a dozen Pakistani military aircraft, including F-16 jets, according to Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal A P Singh. He dismissed Islamabad’s claims regarding India’s losses as ‘fanciful stories.’ Singh noted that Indian actions also impacted various military infrastructure in Pakistan, affecting hangars at three locations, radars at four sites, command and control centers at two locations, and runways at two sites. Speaking at a press conference ahead of the annual Air Force Day, he commented on reports of terror groups relocating their bases in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province post-Operation Sindoor, stating this was anticipated.

He assured that the Indian Air Force is equipped to target these hideouts accurately and effectively. ‘We can destroy them and their hideouts. So, our options have not changed. Our options will remain the same in this matter,’ he asserted. Additionally, Singh indicated that India might pursue further acquisitions of S-400 air defense missile systems based on their operational performance. He provided insights from intelligence reports that detailed Pakistan’s losses during the operation, highlighting damage to radars, command and control centers, runways, and hangars.
