iQOO Neo 11 Launched in China, Competing with OnePlus 15R in India

iQOO has officially unveiled its latest gaming-centric smartphone, the iQOO Neo 11, in China, just before the global launch of its flagship model, the iQOO 15. As the successor to last year’s Neo 10, the Neo 11 features significant improvements in design, display, performance, and battery life, positioning it as a strong competitor to the forthcoming OnePlus 15R in India. The iQOO Neo 11 showcases a new back design, moving away from the square camera module of the Neo 10. It now has a more streamlined dual-camera layout that enhances its sleek appearance. The device will be offered in four vibrant colors: Light White, Pixel Orange, Facing the Gale, and Shadow Black.

Notably, the Facing the Gale variant includes a color-changing rear panel, a feature also hinted at for the upcoming iQOO 15. The smartphone has a thickness of 8.05mm and weighs 216 grams, achieving a good balance of style and practicality. Powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, the same high-end processor used in last year’s premium models, the iQOO Neo 11 is equipped with the company’s new Q2 gaming chip and the Monster Super-Core Engine, which promise enhanced frame rates and quicker response times for gamers. To manage heat during extended gaming, the Neo 11 is designed with an 8K vapor chamber cooling system, ensuring consistent performance without overheating.

For an immersive gaming and entertainment experience, the Neo 11 features a 6.82-inch 2K AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, providing smooth visuals and vibrant colors. It also supports 2,592Hz PWM dimming, a 3,200Hz touch sampling rate, and a 25.4ms touch response time, making it suitable for gaming and multimedia use. Compared to its predecessor, this display is sharper, more responsive, and better suited for low-light conditions. In terms of photography, the iQOO Neo 11 is equipped with a 50-megapixel main camera featuring optical image stabilization (OIS) paired with an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens. The front camera has been downgraded to 16 megapixels from the Neo 10’s 32MP but is expected to deliver improved low-light selfies and portrait clarity.

The battery capacity has seen a notable increase, with a 7,500mAh unit that supports 100W wired fast charging, allowing for quick power-ups and extended use. While iQOO has yet to announce the launch date for the Neo 11 in India, sources indicate it will be released following the iQOO 15’s launch next month. In China, the Neo 11 is priced starting at 2,599 Yuan (approximately ₹32,500) for the base 12GB + 256GB variant. Based on previous pricing strategies, the Indian version is anticipated to launch around ₹31,999, similar to the iQOO Neo 10.

With its robust chipset, enhanced display, and gaming features, the iQOO Neo 11 is poised to be a strong competitor in the mid-premium smartphone market against the OnePlus 15R.
