Rashmika Mandanna's Upcoming Film Maisa Welcomes Jakes Bejoy

Rashmika Mandanna, known as the national crush, is poised to captivate audiences with her unprecedented intense role in the upcoming film Maisa. Directed by first-time filmmaker Ravindra Pulle, this female-led action drama is being produced on a grand pan-India scale by Unformula Films with a substantial budget. The film has already created significant excitement due to its intriguing title and eye-catching first-look poster, and the filming is progressing rapidly. In a recent development, well-known music composer Jakes Bejoy, recognized for his hit album Saripodhaa Sanivaaram, has been brought on board to create the music for Maisa.

A video was released showcasing Bejoy working on the film’s background score, utilizing tribal percussion instruments and providing a preview of the raw and intense auditory experience. The powerful tribal rhythms suggest that Maisa will deliver a grand musical journey. Set within the Gond tribal community, the film is being described as an emotionally charged action thriller. Rashmika will portray a rugged and fierce character, unlike any of her previous roles. The cinematography is led by Shreyas P. Krishna, known for his work on Retro, while action choreography is managed by Andy Long, recognized for his contributions to Kalki 2898 AD. Maisa is shaping up to be one of Rashmika’s most ambitious projects to date.
