JJP has entered Rajasthan ahead of the assembly elections and has formally formed its team in the state. In Rajasthan, the party’s state president will be Prithvi Meel, while Prateek Mahariya, nephew of BJP leader Subhash Mahariya, has been made the president of the Yuva Morcha.

Chautala said that the Congress government led by Ashok Gehlot has failed on every front. Now the people of the state are looking towards the third option. Whenever we have contested elections, people have reposed faith in us. He said that his party would contest on several seats including Fatehpur, Suratgarh, Kotputli, Nohar, Bhadra and Lunkaransar.

On the question of seeing JJP as an alternative to Hanuman Beniwal of RLP, Chautala asked whether he is still in a position to win?

On the question of alliance, the newly appointed state president Meel said that it is a matter of election time.
