Nadda to host dinner for OBC MPs on March 28 in Delhi

New Delhi, April 18 (). BJP National President JP Nadda is going on a tour of Hubli on Tuesday. Nadda will participate in 2 programs in Hubli on Tuesday evening, but his visit to Hubli is also being linked to the rebellion of veteran party leader Jagadish Shettar. It is believed that after Shettar joined the Congress, the party is now engaged in damage control in his area of influence. That’s why party president JP Nadda himself is going on a tour of that area.

JP Nadda will hold talks with intellectuals in Hubli on Tuesday evening and inform them about the achievements and future plans of the BJP government. After this, Nadda will also address a conference of Shakti Kendra Pramukhs at another place in Hubli. However, along with this, he can also have important discussions with Chief Minister Bommai and other important leaders of the state on election preparations, insurgency in the party and methods of damage control.

Upset over not getting the ticket, former chief minister of the state Jagadish Shettar joined the Congress on Monday. After this, on Monday night itself, the BJP released its third list of candidates and declared Mahesh Tenginkai as the candidate from Shettar’s Vidhansabha seat in Hubli Dharwad Central Vidhansabha constituency. But Shettar is considered a big leader of the Lingayat community, so the BJP has also engaged in the exercise of damage control on a large scale in his area of influence. While on the one hand the BJP is trying to keep Shettar stuck in his own Assembly seat, on the other hand the party is also trying to bring Shettar and other rebel leaders like him back to BJP old guard. , leaders and dedicated voters should be prevented from leaving.

Legislative Assembly elections are to be held in Karnataka on May 10 and the results will be announced on May 13. BJP has declared 189 candidates in the first list, 23 in the second list and 10 in the third list ie 222 candidates for the Vidhan Sabha elections. But this time its rebels have emerged as the biggest problem for the party, so the party has to fight at the top level to control or minimize the damage caused by the rebellion.
