During an exclusive interview with The Hans India, he reminisced about his collaboration with megastar Chiranjeevi on the upcoming film, Vishwambhara. He expressed admiration for Chiranjeevi’s kindness and consideration, recalling an incident during an action scene when he experienced a slight shoulder issue. For the following eight days of shooting, Chiranjeevi checked on him daily, asking about his well-being and offering assistance. Kapoor noted that while some individuals may shine as superstars on screen, Chiranjeevi exemplifies the qualities of a superstar both on and off the screen.
Directed by Mallidi Vassishta and produced by UV Creations, ‘Vishwambhara’ is a Telugu fantasy action drama featuring Trisha Krishnan and Ashika Ranganath in prominent roles. The film promises to deliver high-octane action, engaging drama, and impressive visual effects, making it one of the most awaited Telugu releases set for 2026. The film, initially dubbed Mega 156, was announced on August 22, 2023, in celebration of Chiranjeevi’s birthday, marking his 156th film. The project was officially launched with a traditional muhurat pooja on October 23, 2023, in Hyderabad, attended by the cast, crew, and various notable figures from the Telugu cinema industry. Kunal Kapoor’s addition to the cast was revealed in June 2024.
