Update on Lokah Chapter 1's Delayed Release on JioHotstar

Fans are eagerly anticipating the release of Lokah Chapter 1 on JioHotstar, which was initially expected around Diwali 2025. However, the release has been postponed, and no specific date has been announced yet. The film is not currently available on OTT platforms. Producers have confirmed that it will eventually be released on JioHotstar. Fans speculate that it may premiere in October 2025, possibly around Halloween or Diwali, but this remains unconfirmed. The delay is attributed to the film’s ongoing success in theaters, as producers aim to maximize box office returns before moving to OTT.

Lokah Chapter 1 was released on August 28, 2025, with a production budget of under ₹30 crore and has grossed over ₹300 crore, making it the highest-grossing Malayalam film. A sequel, Lokah Chapter 2, is in the works, featuring Tovino Thomas, Kunchacko Boban, and Aditi Balan.
