myBiz, the SaaS-based corporate booking platform from MakeMyTrip, and Swiggy, India’s foremost on-demand convenience platform, have announced a collaboration aimed at simplifying meal expense management for corporate travelers nationwide. myBiz has established itself as a leading corporate travel platform in India, catering to over 75,000 corporates and SMEs. Having already optimized various aspects of corporate travel such as flights, hotels, ground transport, visas, and travel insurance, myBiz is now partnering with Swiggy to tackle meal expenses, which represent over 11% of corporate travel spending in India. This partnership enables corporate travelers to easily order meals via ‘Swiggy for Work’ on the Swiggy app, using their myBiz corporate wallet for payment.
Users can select from more than 260,000 restaurants across over 720 cities for delivery, or dine at over 40,000 Swiggy Dineout partner restaurants in more than 50 cities. A key feature of this integration is the ‘Bill to Company’ option on ‘Swiggy for Work’, a pioneering solution that removes the need for personal payment and receipt management through a straightforward, unified process. All transactions are automatically recorded in company expense systems, providing finance teams with real-time oversight and ensuring compliance with company policies. Employees only need to authorize their corporate ID once to start using the service. Rajesh Magow, Co-Founder and Group CEO of MakeMyTrip, stated that myBiz has continuously outperformed the industry by addressing critical operational gaps for enterprises.
He emphasized that this partnership merges Swiggy’s extensive restaurant network and delivery capabilities with myBiz’s corporate travel ecosystem, making business meal management straightforward. Rohit Kapoor, CEO of Swiggy Food Marketplace, highlighted that the most challenging aspect of business travel often lies in managing meals and filing reimbursements. He noted that this collaboration alleviates that burden, allowing corporate travelers to concentrate on their work while Swiggy manages their meal logistics. Users can order from Swiggy’s extensive restaurant network and have meals delivered to their location or enjoy dining at their preferred restaurant, with expenses settled instantly via their myBiz wallet. After initial authentication, the process resembles any typical Swiggy transaction, with the option to switch to Corporate Mode before checkout.
This initiative promises to save time, reduce complications, and enhance the travel experience for employees. Alongside access to the ‘Bill to Company’ feature, users will benefit from exclusive rewards and offers across various business segments, including Food, Dineout, and Instamart, through Swiggy’s Corporate Rewards program. Launched in May across 7,000 tech parks in over 30 cities in India, the program has received a positive response and expanded to over 27,000 corporates and 250,000 authenticated users within six months.
