Ranchi, May 31 (). In Jharkhand’s Chatra district, the militants of the banned extremist organization TSPC (Third Conference) Presentation Committee attacked a railway construction site and created havoc. They also set a Poklen machine on fire at the construction site. They thrashed five working people badly and then left a pamphlet that if they work without the permission of the organization, be prepared to face the consequences.

The incident happened on Tuesday late night. Construction work is going on on Tandwa police station area Shivpur-Kathoutia railway line. A dozen armed insurgents arrived here, overpowered the personnel and set the Poklen machine on fire by sprinkling diesel on it.

All the five personnel have been injured due to the beating of the militants, who are being treated at Tandwa Hospital.

After the incident on information, SDPO Shambhunath Singh, Police Inspector Vijay Singh reached the spot along with the team. A handwritten pamphlet left by the sub-zonal committee of the organization has been found from the spot. Land brokers, coal mafia, NTPC transporters and other construction agencies have been warned in the leaflet.

Let us tell you that in the last one year there have been about a dozen attacks on railway construction sites in different areas of the state. Maoists and organized criminal gangs are behind these attacks.

Chief Project Manager of Railway Vikas Nigam Limited, Ranchi, Vishal Anand had recently written a letter to the Home Department of the state government, requesting for security over the frequent incidents of attacks.

Mentioning some such incidents in the letter, he had said that due to this many railway projects are getting disrupted.
