During a rally in Sitamarhi, Bihar, Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke ahead of the second phase of the Bihar Assembly elections, emphasizing that the outcome will shape the future of the state’s children. He criticized the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), asserting that the people do not desire a government that resorts to violence. Modi expressed his intentions to seek blessings from the revered land of Mother Sita, stating that only with her blessings can Bihar achieve development. He highlighted the significance of the upcoming election, suggesting it will influence the future of the youth in Bihar.

Modi firmly stated, “We don’t want a gun-wielding government; once again we want an NDA government.” He further condemned the opposition, warning that under their rule, children could end up as criminals instead of pursuing careers as doctors or engineers. Modi questioned whether a child from Bihar should aspire to become a criminal or a professional, asserting that the future should see Bihari children becoming engineers, doctors, lawyers, and judges. He described the alternative as a ‘jungle rule’ characterized by violence, cruelty, and corruption, criticizing those who promote misgovernance.
