Raigarh, May 26 (). Various narcotics worth about Rs 1,500 crore seized by the Mumbai Department of Revenue Intelligence and Narcotics Cell were burnt and destroyed at the MIDC in Taloja on Friday.
These narcotics were burnt in the presence of top officials of the High Level Drug Disposal Committee of Mumbai Customs Zone-3 as per the directions of the Union Ministry of Finance.
Heroin (16.633 kg), cocaine (9.035 kg), methamphetamine (198.1 kg), marijuana (32.915 kg), mandrex tablets (81.91 kg) and narcotics were burnt at the Mumbai Waste Management Limited premises, an official said. Contains MDMA Tablets (134 g).
