OnePlus 15 Launching in India Soon: Pricing and Details

The anticipation for OnePlus enthusiasts is almost over. The company is set to launch its eagerly awaited OnePlus 15 flagship in India in just three days. Notably, OnePlus is introducing its latest model earlier than usual, deviating from its traditional launch timeline. The previous model, the OnePlus 13, was released in January 2025, but the OnePlus 15 is scheduled for a November launch within the same year. Although OnePlus has not officially stated the reason for this early release, it is likely a response to the intense competition in the premium smartphone market. Brands such as iQOO, Realme, and Oppo are also launching their flagship models this month, with Vivo’s X300 series anticipated in December.

OnePlus seems eager to capture attention by offering Indian consumers an early glimpse of its latest high-end device. A key question for many is the expected price of the OnePlus 15 in India. Market forecasts indicate that the starting price for the OnePlus 15 could be below ₹70,000, making it somewhat more affordable compared to recent flagship models. This estimate is based on the company’s historical pricing patterns and the official launch price in China. The OnePlus 15 debuted in China at CNY 3,999, translating to approximately ₹50,000. Analyzing the company’s past pricing strategies reveals a consistent price difference between the Chinese and Indian markets.

For instance, the OnePlus 12 was priced at CNY 4,299 (around ₹50,600) in China but launched in India for ₹64,999, creating a difference of ₹14,399. Similarly, the OnePlus 13, which launched at CNY 4,499 (about ₹53,100), was introduced in India at ₹69,999, indicating a gap of roughly ₹16,899. Notably, OnePlus has reduced the launch price for the OnePlus 15 in China, marking the first such occurrence in years. This may suggest a trend towards price stabilization or reduction for international markets, including India. Analysts speculate that OnePlus might maintain the ₹69,999 price point from the OnePlus 13 or consider a minor reduction to attract more buyers.

A slight decrease in price would likely be appreciated by fans, especially in light of increasing competition in the ₹60,000–₹70,000 premium smartphone segment. To provide context, the OnePlus 12 was launched in India at ₹65,999; thus, if the OnePlus 15 is priced within that range, it may achieve an ideal balance between performance and cost. While the official pricing is yet to be revealed, OnePlus has confirmed that the OnePlus 15 will be available for purchase in India starting November 13 at 8:00 PM. The company’s website and major online retailers are expected to offer the device shortly after the launch event.
