OnePlus is anticipated to unveil the OnePlus 15 flagship in China on October 27. In addition, the company is expected to introduce the Ace 6, similar to previous launches where another model accompanies the flagship. The Ace 6 is rumored to be available as the OnePlus 15R in global markets, including India. According to leaks, the OnePlus 15R may feature a 6.83-inch 1.5K Pro XDR LTPS AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 165Hz. It is also expected to support Dolby Vision and 2160Hz PWM dimming. The display is claimed to achieve a global peak brightness of 1,800 nits and a manual peak brightness of 800 nits.
Regarding battery and charging, the device is said to have a 7,800mAh battery with 120W SuperVOOC wired fast charging. If the leaks are accurate, OnePlus is emphasizing battery performance for the R-series smartphone but may not include wireless charging to maintain performance and manage costs. In terms of camera capabilities, the OnePlus 15R is rumored to include a 50MP main sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide sensor. However, there is no information available about the front camera, leaving the details of the selfie shooter unknown. Last year’s OnePlus 13R featured a triple-lens setup with ultra-wide and telephoto cameras. For performance and storage, OnePlus has already confirmed that the Ace 6 will be powered by the Snapdragon Elite SoC.
This chipset will be paired with LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.1 storage, ensuring high-speed performance and seamless multitasking. The leaks also indicate that the device may come with 16GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage.
