Owner of house used for prostitution arrested in Srinagar

Srinagar, April 4 (). The owner of a residential house in Srinagar was arrested on Tuesday, which was used by its tenants to run a prostitution racket.

Police said that the landlord is Altaf Hussain Afaki, a resident of Chanapora. Srinagar has been arrested under section 3 of the Immoral Traffic Prevention Act.

A police officer said, formal attachment/sealing of the residential house has been initiated under Section 18 of the Act.

Police on Monday evening busted a prostitution racket in Bagh-e-Mehtab area of ​​Srinagar and arrested eight people, including four women.
