Producer and distributor Bunny Vas, recognized for supporting numerous successful movies, recently distributed ‘Raju Weds Rambai’ and achieved success once again. During the event, he highlighted concerns about ticket price increases and the issue of piracy, specifically calling out the growing endorsement of notorious piracy sites like Ibomma by some social media users. Bunny Vas stated, “Piracy is wrong. Justifying it because you personally benefit from it is completely unacceptable.” He elaborated that ticket prices are raised only for 10 to 15 major films annually, yet piracy impacts all films, not just the blockbusters.

He pointed out that many small producers invest their entire savings, and sometimes even sell their assets, to create films, and piracy leads to significant financial losses for them. “Producers may seem resilient outwardly, but they endure tremendous hardships behind the scenes,” he remarked, urging audiences to support cinema appropriately.
