Prime Minister Modi unveiled and initiated several projects totaling ₹13,430 crore in Andhra Pradesh. These include a new power line connecting Kurnool and Chilakaluripeta to enhance renewable energy transmission, two industrial zones in Orvakal (Kurnool) and Kopparthy (Kadapa), as well as new roads, highways, and bridges. Additionally, there will be railway enhancements such as double tracks and flyovers, along with energy projects comprising a 422 km gas pipeline, an LPG plant, and a night-vision factory. These developments are expected to create more jobs and attract investment, improve electricity transmission for renewable energy, and facilitate faster transportation and trade with better energy infrastructure.
