Prashant Kishor's Jan Suraj Padyatra postponed due to health reasons, will resume from June 11

Samastipur, May 15 (). Election strategist Prashant Kishor has postponed his Jan Suraj Padyatra for about 25 days. The padyatra will resume in its old form from June 11.

Prashant Kishore told in a press conference on Monday in Morwa, Samastipur that he is having difficulty in walking due to rupture of the muscle of his left leg.

Kishore said that the doctors say that this problem has occurred due to continuous driving of 20-25 kms daily on bad roads. Doctors suggest that the feet should be given rest for 15-20 days, hence the journey has to be postponed.

He said that the yatra will start again in the same form on June 11 from this ground of Morwa and will continue as it was going on.

Prashant Kishore started his Jan Suraj Padyatra on 2 October 2022. Since then, he is continuously walking in the villages of Bihar. During this, covering a distance of more than 2500 kms, he entered Samastipur district on May 11 after walking from West Champaran via Shivhar, East Champaran, Gopalganj, Siwan, Saran, Vaishali.

After this, due to problems in the feet, doctors were consulted and the decision to postpone the yatra for a few days was taken unanimously by all the people associated with Jan Suraj.
