Mumbai, September 29, 2025: Shibasish Sarkar has been unanimously re-elected as President of the Producers Guild of India for a fourth consecutive term at the 71st Annual General Meeting (AGM), which took place in Mumbai on September 26, 2025. The AGM also saw the re-election of Manish Goswami, Madhu Bhojwani, Aashish Singh, Dipti Kotak, and Ankur Garg as Vice Presidents, while Ashim Samanta and Fazila Allana were re-elected as Treasurers. During the meeting, Sarkar provided members with an overview of the evolving Media & Entertainment landscape, addressing key challenges and opportunities facing content producers. Members received updates on significant activities and developments at the Guild over the past year and discussed priorities for the upcoming year.
