New Delhi: The Election Commission of India (ECI) has reached a significant milestone in Phase II of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls, having distributed over 37 crore Enumeration Forms (EFs) to voters in 12 States and Union Territories as of November 12, 2025, as reported by the poll panel on Wednesday. According to the ECI’s latest daily bulletin, a total of 50.69 crore EFs were printed, achieving 99.41 percent completion, with 72.66 percent (37.05 crore) already distributed. The ongoing Enumeration Phase is scheduled from November 4 to December 4, 2025. States like Goa, Lakshadweep, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, and West Bengal have nearly achieved full coverage, showcasing effective coordination at the ground level.
Lakshadweep recorded 100 percent completion in both printing and distribution, while Goa reported 99.99 percent, Puducherry 93.4 percent, Andaman and Nicobar 89.22 percent, Gujarat over 4.47 crore forms (88.08 percent), and Tamil Nadu over 5 crore forms (78.09 percent) distributed. Uttar Pradesh, the most populous state in India, distributed 10.8 crore forms, covering nearly 70 percent of its electorate. Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan achieved over 53 percent and 70 percent coverage, respectively.
