On Tuesday, the Supreme Court directed the Election Commission to submit information regarding 3.66 lakh voters who were omitted from the final electoral roll created following Bihar’s Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process. The Election Commission reported to the court that a majority of the names included in the final list after the draft list was published on August 30 belong to new voters, and as of now, no complaints or appeals have been made by any excluded voters.
