Tamil Nadu: 12th class result declared, 94.03 percent students pass

TN: Class 12 students register 94.03 pass percentage

Chennai, May 8 (). On Monday, Tamil Nadu Board has declared the results of examination 2022-23 for class 12th students. The overall pass percentage recorded this year is 94.03.

The results were announced by state school education minister Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi. The pass percentage of girl students stood at 96.38 per cent while 91.45 per cent of boys cleared the exam. Around 4.05 lakh girls and 3.49 lakh boys have passed the 12th examination.

The pass percentage for the academic year 2021-22 was 93.76 per cent. Virudhunagar district recorded the highest pass percentage of 97.85 percent, followed by Tiruppur with 97.79 percent and Perambalur with 97.59 percent.

A trans student who appeared for the 12th examination has also achieved success. The pass percentage of government schools was 89.80, aided schools 95.99 and private schools 99.08 percent.
