Kolkata, April 6 (). Expelled Trinamool Congress youth leader Kuntal Ghosh is in judicial custody for his alleged involvement in the multi-crore teacher scam in West Bengal. Ghosh has written a letter to the judge of a special court in Kolkata. In which he has alleged that central agencies are pressurizing him to name TMC leaders.
Ghosh confirmed about the letter while talking to media persons in the premises of the same court where he was brought for hearing on his bail plea on Thursday.
Ghosh said that I have written to the judge about my complaints which I had made earlier. There is a lot of pressure on me by the central agency officials to name senior Trinamool Congress leaders.
Responding to media queries, Ghosh also claimed that he was under pressure to name Trinamool Congress (TMC) national general secretary and party’s Lok Sabha member Abhishek Banerjee.
According to media reports, this is not the first time that Ghosh has made such allegations against the officials of the central agency. He had made the same allegations on March 30 in the same court premises. On that day also he had said that pressure is being created to take the name of Abhishek Banerjee.
Incidentally, last month, while addressing a rally of youth and students’ unions of the Trinamool Congress, Abhishek Banerjee alleged that CBI officials during the investigation into the Saradha chit fund scam had asked party leaders like Madan Mitra and Kunal Ghosh to name him. was pressured.
Now, less than 24 hours later, a similar allegation by Kuntal Ghosh has added a new dimension to the whole scenario. Just a day after this, Kuntal Ghosh has made this allegation against the officials of the central agency, whose information he has now given through a letter to the judge of the court.
