Jalore. Rajasthan’s art, culture, tradition and heritage were seen at one place on Saturday at Dhors of Nandia in Bagoda subdivision of the district. Seeing the beautiful and captivating scene, people became overwhelmed. The occasion was the closing ceremony of the Jalore Festival.
Various artists gave their presentation in this program which started with Bharat Mata Pujan. Artists from different schools and gram panchayats presented colorful picture of Rajasthan through their programmes. The team from Sanchore also won applause by presenting various programmes.
On this occasion, Mohan Parashar, Secretary, Jalore Development Committee said that it is unimaginable to organize such a beautiful program in a rural area. Praising the program, he said that this initiative of Nandia Sarpanch Hinglaj M Charan would prove to be an example for the rural areas of the district.
On this occasion, he also talked about increasing female literacy. Subdivision Officer Dr. Garima Sharma said that our cultural heritage is strengthened by such an event and we get an opportunity to see and feel our shared culture, as well as the open voice of the amazingly grandiose praise of the equal collective cooperation of the entire village by Sarpanch Charan. The same chanted ‘Love you Bagoda’ and ‘Love you Nandia’.
Organizer and Nandia Sarpanch Hinglaj M. Charan expressed his gratitude to all the people of Nandia who directly and indirectly cooperated in the program and said that I am proud of my village and the villagers, in the coming times we will organize a fair from the Gram Panchayat on every Shivratri. The one who was welcomed by everyone with clapping sound, while expressing gratitude to all including officers, employees and sarpanch union of the subdivision, said that our tradition and culture is unique and this is our identity.
There are many opportunities for tourism in rural areas, which we have to bring to the ground, which is possible only through such programs. The program was conducted by RP Hinglaj Charan. Expressing gratitude to everyone, Coordinator Madansingh Rao said that it was seen live in more than twenty countries. Development Officer Rajendra Kumar announced the subdivision level event of 2024 to be held in Gram Panchayat Dhumbadiya.
Tehsildar Chaman Lal, Chief Block Education Officer Bhagwana Ram, Naib Tehsildar Meetha Lal, Assistant Development Officer Omprakash, Village Development Officer Narpat Lal, Raghunath Ram, Babulal Siag, Bhanwar Dan, Lakh Dan, Narpat Dan, Madansingh Chauhan, Sheru Dan were present on this occasion. Many people including Mahendra Dan, Sunil Kumar and Umaid Singh were present.
Dance enthralled the Jalore festival
Impressed people in Rajasthani traditional dances organized on this occasion. The women of Nandia performed the Lur dance. While the geris of Sanfada, Bagoda and Nandia showed beautiful non dance.
Camels and horses run in Jalore festival
Many competitions were also organized on this occasion. In which camel race and horse race were the center of special attraction. Apart from this, women’s pot race and women’s and men’s tug of war competition were also held.
