Dhanbad, May 30 (). Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed his condolences to the people who died in the accident while installing an electric pole in Dhanbad and has announced an additional Rs 2 lakh from the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund to the families of the deceased. He wrote on the social networking site Twitter, expressing deep condolences to the people killed in the Dhanbad accident. May God give strength to the family members to bear the loss in this hour of grief. I would like to wish a speedy recovery to those injured in this accident. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced to give an additional two lakh rupees from the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund to the family members of the laborer killed in the accident. The injured will get Rs 50,000.
A major accident took place on Monday during the installation of an electric pole in Dhanbad. Six people had died in this accident. Where the laborers were working, suddenly the electric pole touched the 25000 volt overhead wire. Eight people were engaged in this work. Six people died on the spot. The accident took place near Jharkhor, about one kilometer from Katras station.
The investigation has started regarding who is responsible for the death of the laborers in the accident. The laborers are also being questioned in this regard. The laborers had neither helmets nor gloves to wear in their hands, nor shoes nor other safety equipment. DRM says that without our knowledge the contractors were getting them to work like this.
On the other hand, the family members of the laborer are demanding justice. Most of the laborers were the sole earners in their families. In such a situation, the family members are also worried about how their family will run. Out of the six laborers killed, two laborers are residents of Latehar district. On hearing the news of the accident, there was mourning in the house of the laborers. The relatives are in bad condition by crying. Dinesh Bhuiyan (24) father Palava Bhuiyan, resident of Patratu village of Richughuta under Latehar police station area and Sanjay Ram (35) of Morwai village under Barwadih police station area. After the incident, people from nearby areas have started coming to Dinesh Bhuiyan’s house. The relatives are being consoled. The relatives are in bad condition by crying. Dinesh’s wife told that the husband had gone to Dhanbad a month ago in connection with work. He has two small children. The wife said, how will the family run now. The condition of the house was not good, so he had gone out to earn. Her entire family had to depend on her husband’s earnings.
