Dehradun, May 31 (). Today, Women’s Welfare Minister Rekha Arya took a meeting with departmental officers at the government residence in Yamuna Colony regarding several important issues. In the meeting, along with the progress report of the works done so far, future plans were discussed. In the meeting, the departmental minister took information from the officials on various other topics including Mukhyamantri Vatsalya Yojana, PM Care Yojana, Sponsorship Scheme, Open Shelter Home.
The cabinet minister said that till March 2023, the money for the Mukhyamantri Vatsalya Yojana has been released. Regarding the funds for the months of April and May, the officers have been directed that this amount should also be distributed soon. The same he said that many disabled mentally ill people also live in our institutions, but due to lack of a separate institution for them, they have to face many problems.
In such a situation, instructions have been given to make a proposal for setting up a separate institution for the disabled and mentally challenged people, so that they do not face any kind of problems. Along with this, Minister Rekha Arya said that many meritorious children are also residing in our institutions. In such a situation, the department has been directed to make a proposal as soon as possible so that they get separate free education immediately.
Along with this, Minister Rekha Arya also gave instructions to rectify the poor condition of the state communication center located in Haldwani of Nainital district. He told the departmental officers that the communication center located in Haldwani is in a bad condition, in such a situation, it is necessary to demolish it and construct a new home in its place, for which he instructed to make a proposal.
On this occasion, Director Pradeep Rawat, Chief Probation Officer Mohit Chowdhary, CPO Anjana Gupta and departmental officers were present.
