Bijnor: Case registered against Principal for thrashing Dalit student

Lucknow, May 12 (). The principal of a private school in Thakurganj has been booked for allegedly physically and mentally torturing a Class II student who was admitted under the RTE (Right to Education) Act.

The child’s father alleged that the principal, Preeti Yadav, was unhappy with her son’s admission through RTE.

The victim’s father alleged, she used to taunt students who got admission under RTE.

He said, on May 5, the principal beat up my son and taunted him. When he returned home, he had a high fever.

He fainted after a while, he said. We took him to the hospital, he is still undergoing treatment. My son was physically and mentally abused by the school administration and the principal.

SHO Thakurganj Vikas Rai said that a case has been registered against the principal for seriously injuring the student by beating him.
