The Rajasthan Royals showed immense faith in the young star, signing him for over ₹1 crore. And their investment seems justified — Vaibhav Suryavanshi holds the record for the fastest century in U-19 Test cricket (off just 58 balls) and scored a blistering 176 runs in the U-19 Asia Cup. He even made headlines in domestic cricket with a triple century and recently faced Jofra Archer in the nets, handling the pace with maturity beyond his age.

As for the match, Rajasthan needed 9 runs in the final over, but Avesh Khan held his nerve and bowled a brilliant last over to seal a thrilling 2-run win for Lucknow.
