Vivo has officially launched its new flagship smartphones, the Vivo X300 and Vivo X300 Pro, in China, with a global release anticipated soon. These devices succeed the X200 series and offer significant hardware and camera enhancements, particularly for mobile photography enthusiasts. The Vivo X300 is priced at 4,399 Yuan (approximately ₹54,700) for the 12GB + 256GB variant, while the premium 16GB + 1TB model costs 5,799 Yuan (around ₹72,900). It comes in Free Blue, Comfortable Purple, Pure Black, and Lucky Colour finishes. The X300 Pro starts at 5,299 Yuan (about ₹65,900) for the base version, reaching 8,299 Yuan (approximately ₹1,03,200) for the 16GB + 1TB Satellite Communication Edition, available in Wilderness Brown, Simple White, Free Blue, and Pure Black.
Although Vivo has not confirmed pricing for India, the X200 was launched at ₹65,999, suggesting the X300 might have a similar price point, with the X300 Pro potentially debuting around ₹94,999. The Vivo X300 Pro features a 6.78-inch 1.5K flat BOE Q10+ LTPO OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, while the standard X300 has a slightly smaller 6.31-inch 1.5K LTPO OLED display, also at 120Hz. The X300 Pro weighs 226 grams and is 7.99mm thick, whereas the X300 is lighter at 190 grams and slimmer at 7.95mm. Both models are powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500, the latest flagship chipset from MediaTek, designed to rival Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5.
They come with LPDDR5x RAM (12GB or 16GB) and UFS 4.1 storage options of 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB. The devices operate on OriginOS 6 based on Android 16, marking the first time OriginOS will be available outside of China, including in India. The Vivo X300 Pro features a 50MP Sony LYT-828 main sensor with OIS, a 50MP Samsung JN1 ultrawide, and a 200MP periscope telephoto lens. In contrast, the X300 has a 200MP Samsung HPB primary sensor with OIS, the same 50MP ultrawide lens, and a 50MP LYT-602 periscope telephoto. Both phones include a 50MP Samsung JN1 front camera for selfies and video calls.
A notable feature of this series is the integration of Zeiss imaging chips; the X300 Pro includes both Zeiss V3+ and Vs1 chips, while the X300 is equipped with the V3+ chip. The Vs1 chip manages image pre-processing, while the V3+ enhances post-processing for improved detail and dynamic range. The X300 Pro is equipped with a 6,510mAh battery supporting 90W wired and 40W wireless charging, while the X300 has a slightly smaller 6,040mAh battery but maintains the same charging speeds. The Vivo X300 series exemplifies Vivo’s commitment to camera innovation with Zeiss optics and state-of-the-art imaging technology.
With the powerful Dimensity 9500 chipset, premium display, and substantial battery capacity, the X300 lineup is poised to deliver a flagship experience for performance and photography enthusiasts alike, with a global launch imminent, including in India.
